As an Olympic Gold Medal recipient at Sydney, Australia in 2000, LaTasha reached a pinnacle to which many aspire and so few ever achieve. Among her many accolades she has been inducted into two hall of fames; The Virginia Hall of Fame and the UNC Hall of Fame and also has a world record. She is a positive force for the development of youth and excellence in sports through her charitable organization. In 2000, she established the Treasures Within Foundation- a foundation with the mission to strengthen kids, families and the world through education, sports, and spirituality. A dynamic speaker, her focus is empowering people for community service. She believes in exploring life without limits and hopes to ignite this emerging generation to dream and find their destiny.
